After the success of our collaboration with Dan Wright's Abigail Street in October, we at concert:nova knew we needed to bring this event to Dutch's of Hyde Park. As part of the Late:Night series, a short wine class by Cutting Edge Imports presenting the selected wines, synesthesias and the innovative color system it inspired will inform abbreviated performances of Berio’s equally imaginative canon of Sequenzas. The solo texture of his compositions for varied instruments places the role of color or timbre on the same level as rhythm, harmony, and melody. Join us for an exciting night tasting, seeing, and hearing colors!
