The new year continues to ring in with a tribute to some of the groundbreaking, sophisticated women of song. It’s an evening filled with soul in the voices of the women who gave voice to jazz classics and new voice to many standards.

Guest singers Capathia Jenkins, Montego Glover, and N’Kenge, take the Mead Theatre Stage of the glorious Schuster Center to perform classic songs from the tradition of the some of the most famous Harlem Renaissance singers . . . women such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Dinah Washington, and Billie Holiday.
