CT:2 DUO "Cut into Pieces"

The debut of a beautiful friendship, "Cut into Pieces" begins a five concert residency by CT:2 DUO at the beautiful and historic Cincinnati Public Library. The program continues where "A Century of Sonatas" leaves off and features miniature works by Schumann, Debussy, Berg, Muczynski, and Penderecki.

R. Schumann, Fantasy Pieces, Op. 73 (1849)
R. Muczynski, Time Pieces (1983)
Debussy, Petite Piece (1910)
Berg, 4 Pieces, Op. 5 (1913)
Krzysztof Penderecki, 3 Miniatures for Clarinet and Piano (1954)

Founded in 2013 by Clare Longendyke, piano and Andrea Vos-Rochefort, clarinet, the CT:2 Duo aims to expand the framework of traditional chamber music through performances of new works and re-imaginings of known favorites. By creating programs that combine standard clarinet/piano duo repertoire with lesser known works, arrangements, and premiers, CT:2 aims to guide audiences along thematic musical journeys.
