Sing Sangit is a colorful exploration of the world of Indian Ragas through the medium of choral and orchestral music.  This concert features the Shanti Youth Choir and the Shanti Choir of Cincinnati along with guest singers from the Young Professionals Choral Collective (YPCC) in a score that transcends cultures.  Sing Sangit is conceived, composed and directed by internationally renowned musician Dr. Kanniks Kannikeswaran, who is hailed as a pioneer of the Indian American choral movement.  His flagship creation, ‘Shanti – A Journey of Peace’, was hailed for its ability to build community through music and was seen by over 2000 people at the Aronoff Center both in 2006 and 2014.
